Google has got into trouble again. This time it is the Indian goverment. There is a video at YouTube which shows a strip dance of a man dressed as Gandhi. The Department of Information Technology has asked the search giant to pull the video down.

According to Aloo Techie, Google has responded by saying "We take matters such as this seriously and are currently reviewing the clip to determine the best course of action. These issues are complicated as the internet is an international phenomenon.” This is not the first time that YouTube has been a cause for trouble. Sex videos had previously been a cause of concern before.

Meanwhile, the government has ordered two television channels — IBN-7 and Sahara — to apologize for showing footage of the controversial pole dance clip. This is not the first time that blatant freedom has been taken in the name of artistic liberty. What sort of art is this which can’t differentiate between creativity and vandalism? And what sort of artist is one whose art does not even deserve an iota of appreciation? Honestly, how many think that it is a true work of art? Let us know.
