Google is including three more types of structured data to the rich results report on Search Console. From now on, Search Console will report some new types of structured data:

  • Product markup: Enables Google to show detailed product details on search results.
  • Siteklink searchbox markup: It helps Google to display a search bar which helps users look for a site’s content.
  • Unparsable types: This is structured data which has been implemented in a wrong manner.

Now, e-commerce website owners can utilize the Search Console to verify whether Google can read all of their product markup or not. Moreover, they can also promptly detect the exact sets of markup which contain errors and start troubleshooting immediately. Google states that only thing new is the ability to report about these types of structured data. The issues that are being reported, however, may or may not be new.

All these three types of markup join the following types which have already been included in the rich results report:

  • Event
  • FAQ
  • Fact check
  • How-to
  • Job posting
  • Logo
  • Q&A page
  • Recipe
