Google has recently released an important AMP testing tool update. Users can now access the tool in two ways. One, at its usual destination, and second, by entering AMP directly in the Google search bar.
On typing “AMP testing tool” in the search bar, a submission form will pop up, which looks like this:
On running the AMP URL through the submission form, you will be redirected to the updated result page, with several new features. Users are now allowed to submit AMP to Google’s index, and view AMP’s raw source code.
The AMP testing tool does not restrict the type of URLs that can be run through it. Users can test URLs not restricted to just their site. So run some pages through the tool and find out what they are doing differently that their AMPs are consistently showing up in search results.
