Without a doubt Google My Business has been a beneficial tool, which helps businesses connect with their customers by assembling all the information at one place.
Thus, to help business owners set their goals more effectively, Google My Business comes up with a new onboarding process. It began rolling out earlier this month.
Earlier the onboarding process for Google My Business wasn’t quite user-friendly, and wasn’t tailored to any goal in particular. But the new process comes with a personalized action plan based on the selected goals of the business.
Goals Include:
- Help customers discover my business.
- Share updates with customers.
- Learn how people find my business on Google.
- Have accurate information on Google.
- Respond to customers.
- Promote my business online.
After selecting the goals, Google provides a list of action items, which will help in thoroughly drafting a plan as they tell users what to do and what the tasks will accomplish.
These tasks may include responding to reviews, uploading photos, viewing performance reports, and much more.
Action items for each business will be prioritized by the Google, based on the goal(s) they selected, making it easier and less daunting for users.
