Google has launched “Style Ideas”, a new feature to boost your style IQ. While “similar items” launched last week shows similar styles and items based on image you are currently seeing, this new feature is more about fashion and style.
When the user will check out the image of a fashion product, Image Search will show a grid of lifestyle images and outfits that show how the product can be worn.
“With style ideas, you can see real-life options of what bag and jeans look stellar with those red high heels you’ve been eyeing. Or if running gear is more your speed, no sweat—workout ensemble ideas are just a tap away.”
Image Search will also show an expanded carousel for similar items while searching for apparels. The feature is available in Google app for Android and mobile web.
